HELLO!

PRAISE BE TO GOD, THE FATHER, THE SON, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT!!!!

We greet you in the name of our Lord Jesus-Christ in whom, by whom and for whom all has come to existence!

What a blessing it is to know the Lord and to enjoy his abiding grace day after day.

Life sometimes deals some unhappy tricks. But for the Christians, that’s not the end of the story. We know that Christ lives and imparts his life to us. He provides strength and courage to overcome in the most challenging circumstances.

Rev. Luc R. Pierre

Haiti Is Shaken Again by 6.1 Aftershock (Posted: 01/20/10)

A strong aftershock hit Haiti on Wednesday morning just as much-needed aid was scheduled to arrive, CNN reports. The country has experienced a number of aftershocks since the original earthquake hit last Tuesday, but today's was the strongest. It measured 6.1 on the Richter scale -- just slightly less than the original quake and powerful enough to be felt 125 miles from Port-au-Prince.

No injuries or deaths were reported, but a strong aftershock can pose a serious danger to a city where many damaged buildings have been teetering precariously. Patients at a hospital near the Port-au-Prince airport began praying and asking forgiveness as the ground shook. The death toll from last week's quake is already at 72,000 and is expected to go much higher.
